Christ Church's Banner of Biblical
& Classic Anglican Christianity

We commit to live together as a community under the purpose, values, faith, and way of life which God has given to the Church of Jesus Christ in the New Testament and handed down in the Church from generation to generation.

We believe in the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the centrality and uniqueness of Jesus Christ and salvation by grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone.

We affirm that the Holy Scripture of the Old and New Testaments is the inspired word of God, the revealed and living Truth, the primary authority in matters of faith and living by which God leads the Church in every new day by His Holy Spirit.

We receive God's gifts of Word and Sacraments and God's call to apostolic ministry in the shared life of community in our parish and the life and mission of the wider Church.

We profess the historic ecumenical creeds of the Church, The Preface to the First Book of Common Prayer, the Articles of Religion, and the Catechism.

The Christ Church Stand on Current Events in the Episcopal Church

In light of recent events in the Episcopal Church, the Rector and Parish Council of Christ Church declare that Christ Church stands for Biblical and historic Anglican Christianity.  We are formed and directed by the Word of God -- Holy Scripture -- and enriched by our Anglican heritage.  We meet all people where they are and shepherd one another to be disciples of Jesus Christ, participating in God's transformation of lives.
